Blockboard is built from strips of solid softwood glued edge to edge and faced on both sides with a veneer skin. The solid core grips screws and fixings far better than a veneered particle board and adds rigidity without much weight, which is why blockboard remains a favourite for door cores, table tennis tables, shelving, cabinet doors and furniture frames.
We offer blockboard faced with okoume, pine, bintangor or melamine paper, in 15 mm to 25 mm, with the core strips finger-jointed and sanded for flatness.
Fire-retardant and moisture-resistant core options are available to order.

Packaging & Shipping
Panels are packed on export pallets with plywood edge protection and steel strapping. Container loading is supervised by our own QC team, and photographs of the loaded container are sent to you before departure. Cut-to-size, printed and pre-drilled packing is available for industrial buyers.
